TheCanon 1300D does not have dust sensor protection. I find that useful. Even though I don't change lenses often (almost never), my Canon T3i (600D) camera has had a dust bunny twice (in about two years). Both times the dust sensor protection removed it (it took about 10 to 20 times before it was completely gone).
